How can welcome emails help deliverability
By Hollie Youlden
First impressions are important. So are welcome emails. Welcome emails can do wonders for your long-term email deliverability. You can do that in 3 ways:
1. Let your subscribers know that they might receive your email in the spam folder, and ask them to mark it as 'not junk' or 'not spam' - do this either in the welcome email itself or at the time of subscribing.
2. Engagement is great for delivery. Welcome emails are seen to have 4x more opens and 5x more clicks compared to other regular campaigns. The more subscribers engage with your emails, the better your reputation. The better your sender reputation, the better your deliverability!
3. Open rate of welcome emails could tell you a lot about how your emails are performing in terms of deliverability. In that case, take important measures like verifying your domain, switching to double opt-in and cleaning your mailing list.
