Here is one of the questions he answered: | Q: Ravi asks “I have an audience of 150k and I send them email newsletters regularly, but my open rate won’t increase > 5%. How can I improve this?” | A: Hi Ravi, this is Arnav. A low open rate can result from poor domain reputation, irrelevant content, or lack of personalization. I’ll help you fix your metrics with the below simple steps:
1) Check your domain health if you see anything but green, you must run warmup campaigns.
2) Check your past newsletter content to see if there are issues with the image size etc. which could be a one-way ticket to spam.
3) Segment your audience into active and inactive subscribers and send your newsletters to the active ones first. This will improve your domain health and deliverability, and prevent landing in spam or being marked as promotions in your inbox.
4) Test everything - You can also test different subject lines, preview texts, and send times to see what works best. I hope this helps you increase your open rate and engage your subscribers. Hope this helps answer your question Ravi!
