Is Elastic Email really worth it?
The Elastic Email platform offers a series of features, such as advertising campaigns, marketing automation, transactional email, an easy-to-use user interface with a stylish design and well-organized menu. Elastic email is frequently updated with new features and enhancements to the user experience, by catering with the needs of the users for their email marketing requirements. Although the platform offers a broad range of tools, its expensive pricing plans have become an issue for some users.
It is normal for companies to occasionally raise prices. But to change the pricing structure of a plan from pay as you go to monthly subscription and not even properly inform your customers of this change, that's pretty unreal.
Especially for firms that send large volumes of messages, such pricing can quickly be added up. Besides its high prices, Elastic email has also been criticized for its customer support. With the new updates in the pricing plans users have shown disappointment with the company and have caused a problem for their email marketing strategies and budget.
Can't think of a company tbh that would raise their pricing so steeply and not even properly notify their customers. And just make them find out by suddenly seeing more money being deducted from their Paypal. Lost all my trust in @Elastic_Email
Elastic Email does offer a basic plan starting from $0 per month to their users which is limited to 1000 subscribers and users can send only 100 emails per day. However, the free plan doesn’t include email automations, Unlimited custom fields, Faster Delivery Speed, and many other features which makes it a very limited featured plan for the users.
The Plus plan starts at $9 per month, which means users will be able to send up to 60,000 emails per month to 2000 contacts. Users may send up to 3,00,000 emails per month with the premium plan starting at $60 a month to 10.000 contacts. Finally, a dedicated plan is a custom plan designed for high volume senders and requires a minimum monthly commitment of $1,000.
Verdict
While Elastic Email may be a good choice for smaller to midsized companies, its low pricing plans and customer support make it not attractive to larger enterprises or large volumes of senders. It's important to consider other providers that offer more competitive prices and better support if you are looking for an email marketing service.
The Elastic Email is a good tool for beginner email marketeers, with an affordable starting plan which gives you access to some of its features. But, the problem that often arises is its low deliverability rate which has been a common concern of Elastic Email users.
In terms of deliverability rate, it may not be the best choice for the users looking to get an affordable ESP with more advanced features. A feature that will adversely affect your Domain and IP reputations, is the deliverability rate which can affect the performance of your email.
